ECBC Encentric provides system administration and software development support to the Army’s ECBC. Applications supported by our team include: the Joint Acquisition CBRN Knowledge System (JACKS); the Online System for CRP Assays and Reagents (OSCAR); and the Materiel Fielding and Tracking tool (MFTT).

 

ATF - Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and ExplosivesAt ATF, a new approach to client device management has generated substantial savings in IT personnel supporting a very complex environment of 7.000+ users and client devices, most of them laptops. At the same time, a truly different approach to IT engineering generated a software suite which allowed ATF to be 85% HSPD12 compliant in a very short period of time.

 

USCIS At USCIS, Encentric’s IT team provides user support at remote locations and works in collaboration with the Service Desk. This is accomplished by assisting customers affected by technical issues, and by troubleshooting an extensive variety of products and equipment. Finally, our team determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers’ needs.

 

BLS - U.S. Bureau of Labor StatisticsAt BLS, Encentric’s IT team perform both engineering and support activities in the following areas: Citrix and VMware support, Windows Exchange, Blackberry Migration, Mobile Device Management and Helpdesk Support.

 

DoSAt the Bureau of Human Resources HR/EX of the State Department, Encentric provided operational support to the PeopleSoft v9.1 human resource system, GEMS, including day-to-day O&M and new development to support new system imperatives. Encentric’s support to HR/EX covered the full lifecycle of the PeopleSoft-based HR system, including functional support, requirements development, application coding and development, system testing, and the management and staffing of HR/EX’s Integrated Personnel Management System (IPMS) service desk.

 

TTB - Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade BureauAt TTB, Encentric´s corps of engineers built a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solution that allowed the agency to promote enterprise mobility while increasing data and application security, all the while bringing substantial savings in software refresh and total IT maintenance cost.

This VDI solution was published as a toolkit to support federal agencies implementing Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Programs. The publication can be found at the Whitehouse.gov site as a best practice in the Federal Government.
